This section contains a schedule of the approval stages that a new program proposal must pass through in order to be formally approved by KBOR. Prior to placing a new program out for the 14-day comment period, we must have a "complete" application packet in hand. "Complete" includes addressing all aspects of the "New Program Request Form CA1" in a qualitative manner. KBOR staff reviews each new program application in detail and generally requests additional information or clarification on key issues which the institution is likely to face during the reviews by the various committees. To ensure that proposals are "complete" and ready for the 14-day comment period, we have added a column to the CTE Program Alert Submission Timetable. This as the initial step in the program approval process for new technical programs.
